The Korean Brand Business Research Institute has released the latest brand reputation rankings for K-pop groups. SEVENTEEN rose to the top spot in the male boy group rankings, while BLACKPINK maintained first place for the second consecutive month in the female group rankings. June 2025 K-Pop Boy & Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings

The Korean brand Business Research Institute analyzed 68,619,576 male group brand big data points from May 14 to June 14, 2025. The number increased by 19.80 percent from 57,279,872 brand big data recorded in May 2025.
For female group brand big data, the institute analyzed 53,051,005 pieces of brand big data from May 15 to June 15, 2025, showing a 3.87 percent decrease from 56,077,037 pieces of girl group brand big data collected in May 2025.
June 2025 Boy Group Brand Rankings: #1 SEVENTEEN

1. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN, who celebrated the group’s 10th anniversary on May 26, ranked first with a brand reputation index of 7,027,417 in June. The group’s index experienced a 22.66 percent increase from 5,729,258 in May.
In a more comprehensive analysis, the institute found “record,” “donate,” and “reveal.” as the most popular terms related to the groups. Meanwhile, in keyword analysis, they identified “MINITEEN,” “Bad Influence,” and “HAPPY BURSTDAY” as the group’s top keywords. Additionally, in the positivity-negativity analysis, the group achieved a positive score of 91.78 percent.
2. BTS
The 7-member group BTS, who recently celebrated their 12th-anniversary debut on June 13, fell to second place this month. Their brand reputation index decreased by 12.39 percent, dropping from 7,811,108 in May to 6,843,685 in June.
3. BIGBANG
BIGBANG, whose member G-Dragon recently launched the new PEACEMINUSONE Highball drink packs, maintained their third place with a brand reputation index of 6,843,685, marking a 12.39 percent decrease from 7,811,108 in May.
4. SHINee
SHINee, who just celebrated their 17th anniversary last May, rose to fourth place. The second-generation K-Pop group’s brand reputation index jumped 35.80 percent, rising from 2,679,988 in May to 3,639,299 in June.
5. Stray Kids
Stray Kids, who just released the new single “Hollow” as part of their Japan 3rd mini album of the same name, rounded out the top five this month. The group achieved an impressive increase of 119.51 percent, rising from 1,386,192 in May to 3,042,888 in June 2025.

BLACKPINK, who is gearing up for the next world tour, “Deadline,” held onto the top position this month. The group’s brand reputation index rose by 15.83 percent, increasing from 5,420,364 in May to 6,278,657 in June 2025.
In a more comprehensive analysis, the institute identified “to film,” “sold out,” and “donate” as the group’s popular related terms. For keyword analysis, “Jennie,” “full-group comeback,” and “Goyang concert” emerged as top keywords. Additionally, BLACKPINK achieved a positive score of 91.24 percent in the positivity-negativity analysis,

2. IVE
IVE, who excited fans with their self-produced content “1,2,3 IVE Season 6,” remained in second place. The girl group’s index saw a 3.63 percent decrease, falling from 5,185,979 in May to 4,997,842 in June 2025.
3. Red Velvet
Red Velvet, whose members Irene and Seulgi just made a comeback with “TILT,” while Wendy and Yeri part ways with the label after their exclusive contract expired (yet remain active group members), rose to third place. Despite the ranking increase, the group brand reputation index fell by 10.21 percent, decreasing from 3,072,798 in June to 3,422,031 in May 2025.
4. LE SSERAFIM
LE SSERAFIM, who recently released the English version of “Different” from the title track of their 4th Japan album and sang the theme song “Kawaii” for Netflix’s “My Melody & Kuromi” motion series, rose to fourth place. The sextet, who recently announced their upcoming North American Fall Tour debut this year, gained a brand reputation index of 3,008,113 in June, marking a 3.47% increase from 2,907,179 in May.
5. TWICE
TWICE, with some members participating in the OST for Netflix’s animated film “KPop Demon Hunter,” placed in the top five for this month. The group’s brand reputation index fell by 19.18 percent, decreasing from 3,679,751 in May to 2,974,032 in June.
