Actress Shin Se Kyung was reported to have finally left Namoo Actors. After 19 years of acting career with the same agency, Shin Se Kyung decided to move on and move to a different agency.
On July 5, Namoo Actors officially confirmed that Shin Se Kyung has indeed left the agency for good, “We have terminated the exclusive contract with Shin Se Kyung.”
Recently, Shin Se Kyung parted ways with Namoo Actors, the agency she has been with for 19 years since her debut. On July 5, a source from Namoo Actors confirmed, “We have terminated the exclusive contract with Shin Se Kyung.”

Shin Se Kyung Signed a Contract with IU’s EDAM Entertainment
The same day after Namoo Actors officially confirmed that Actress Shin Se Kyung had left the agency, EDAM Entertainment also shared that the actress had signed an exclusive contract with the company.
“Shin Se Kyung has decided to sign an exclusive contract with EDAM Entertainment. After we wrap up discussions regarding the contract, we’ll release an official statement this afternoon.”

Therefore, Shin Se Kyung has now belonged to the same agency as Actress Lee Ji Eun or known as IU by deciding to join EDAM Entertainment.

IU Welcomes Shin Se Kyung to EDAM Entertainment
Following the news of Shin Se Kyung joining EDAM Entertainment, Lee Ji Eun (IU) posted a photo of rice cakes that EDAM Entertainment staff shared using EDAM’s parent company’s social media, Kakao M.
Also, EDAM Entertainment wrote a message on the box:
“EDAM has welcomed a new family member.
We are sharing rice cakes in celebration.
Please show lots of interest and love for our new family member from now on.
Everyone in Kakao M, enjoy eating [the rice cakes] and gain strength today also!!”
Then, IU reposted with a caption, “Oh yay, a new family member,” with emoticons of a chick and heart. IU welcomes Shin Se Kyung to EDAM Entertainment on her Instagram Story.
Furthermore, Shin Se Kyung also posted a photo of a welcome gift she had received from EDAM Entertainment: a cake with pictures of her dogs, Jin Guk and Sa Rang.
On top of that, IU also welcomed Shin Se Kyung to the family by gifting a signed album with the sweet message, “Let’s become close friends! Thank you.”
By joining EDAM Entertainment, Shin Se Kyung has become the second star under the agency, following Lee Ji Eun (IU).
