On November 17, SM Entertainment’s new girl group aespa officially dropped Black Mamba MV as their debut single. aespa debut single is written by Yoo Young Jin. The Black Mamba lyrics tell about the digital world of aespa members and “æ” avatar interrupted and threatened by Black Mamba.
Previously on October 28, Lee Soo Man, the CEO of SM Entertainment, introduced aespa at the 2020 World Culture Industry Forum. SM Entertainment’s new girl group consists of multi-nationality members. Winter and Karina are from South Korea, Ningning is from China, and Giselle is from Japan.
Moreover, he also introduced the concept of SM Entertainment’s new girl group, “aespa.” It is a combination of the character æ, representing the phrase “avatar x experience,” and the English word “aspect.”
