On August 21, HighZium Studio officially announced that actor Song Joong Ki and actress Chun Woo Hee will take on the leading roles in the upcoming romance drama “My Youth” (working title).”
“My Youth” Storyline
“My Youth” is an emotional romance drama that follows the love story of Sun Woo Hae and Sung Je Yeon.
Sun Woo Hae is a writer and florist who started living an ordinary life later than most people. Previously, he was a famous child actor. However, due to the greed of adults, he lost his light, and people forgot about him. One day, his first love, Sung Je Yeon, pays him a visit after 15 years. She reminds him of the reason for living that he had forgotten.
Sung Je Yeon works as a team leader at Feel Entertainment. She grew up in a wealthy family with no worries. However, after her family’s economy suddenly crashed, she now has to work harder than anyone else. Now, she is only focused on pursuing success.
In her journey to achieve her goals, Sung Je Yeon seeks out Sunwoo Hae, disturbing his peace. However, as she spends more time with him, Sung Je Yeon begins to rediscover her true self. This journey leads to her transformation.
As they reunite, they rekindle their love and create new happy moments.
“My Youth” Cast & Characters: Song Joong Ki and Chun Woo Hee
Actor Song JoongKi will portray the role of Sun Woo Hae, while Chun WooHee will play the role of Sung Je Yeon. This drama will mark as their first project together; therefore, many Kdrama fans are anticipating their on-screen chemistry in the upcoming romance drama.
