Previously, on December 29, 2021, D&C Webtoon Biz revealed an exciting PV teaser for the OST collaboration between The Boyz and the “Solo Leveling” webtoon. The 28-second short PV teaser showed the main character of ‘Solo Leveling’, Sung Jinwoo, standing alone and showing off his mighty presence on a midnight street. His sharp gaze stared at you while the exciting music played The Boyz voice singing, “Show me what you got!”

What is “Solo Leveling” Webtoon?

If you are a fan of these best fantasy Korean dramas, then you will love “Solo Leveling” Korean webtoon by writer Chu-Gong. With its origin as a web novel in Papyrus, the webtoon was a HUGE hit and finally featured in KakaoPage. Due to its massive popularity, KakaoPage turned “Solo Leveling” into a webtoon in 2018, forming a collaboration between the writer and artists Hyeon Gun – Jang Sung Rak.

“Solo Leveling” Synopsis

So, are you curious what “Solo Leveling” story is about? Well, the genre is urban fantasy with extra action scenes.

“Solo Leveling” tells a story of a different world where humans live like characters in a role-playing game. They must battle deadly monsters to survive and protect each other from destruction.

Sung Jinwoo, the main character, is weak and doesn’t have any power. However, one day, he almost dies in an overwhelmingly powerful double dungeon that nearly wipes out his entire party. Suddenly, a mysterious program, the “System”, selects him to be its only player and offers him an incredibly rare ability to level up his strength beyond limits. His choice is either he receives the power or dies on the spot. Which one do you think he choose?

When is The Boyz x “Solo Leveling” Webtoon OST Collaboration Release Date?

Unfortunately, as of today, there has yet been any detail about the exact release date for The Boyz x “Solo Leveling” webtoon OST collaboration. However, according to D&C Webtoon Biz, they will release the OST sometime next month in February 2022.
