JK Day is not BTS Jungkook’s birthday. Why is #HAPPYJKDAY trending every year on January 9 from 2019, 2020, and now this 2021? What are Jungkook and ARMY are celebrating on the day?

What is JK Day?

JK Day is not the real birthday of BTS Jungkook. Well, that’s a bit tricky since Jungkook’s birthday is on 09/01 (September 1), and JK Day is supposed to be on 01/09 (January 9).

What is the reason for January 9 as JK Day?

Until now, there is still no specific reason for making January 9 as JK Day. However, all of this is based on a memo made in BTS Season Greetings Package 2018.

Since then, for the love of ARMY for Jungkook, it is celebrated on January 9 every year, although there is no specific reason. The reason is just simply the love from ARMY to Jungkook, I guess.
