On January 3, Dispatch uploaded posts on social media to reveal their 2022 New Year couple by reporting that T-ara Hyomin is currently dating famous soccer player Hwang Ui Jo.
Since they used their most critical time to announce D’FESTA 10 Year Anniversary Concert, apparently, Dispatch decided to move their 2022 couple of the year reveal time a few days later.
T-ara Hyomin and Hwang Ui Jo: Friends to Lovers
According to Dispatch reports, T-ara Hyomin and Hwang Ui Jo are the embodiment of friends-to-lovers, just as how it is in Korean dramas.
After all, these couple of months have been quite a challenge for this Dispatch 2022 couple. On October 17, Hwang Ui Jo suffered ankle and hamstring injuries, which forced him to rest and sit out the games for a few months. And at the same time, Hyomin’s schedule was full with recording and preparation for T-ara comeback, “Re: T-ARA.”
Even when they were miles apart, Hyomin and Hwang Ui Jo continued to become each other’s support system. Then, the relationship grew from friends to something sweeter and stronger.

Furthermore, Hwang Ui Jo is currently living in France due to his position in Ligue 1 for the Bordeaux soccer club. Not only that, Hwang Ui Jo is the 6th player in the rankings of the whole Bordeaux members. And in 2021, he scored 16 goals for Bordeaux, which brought him to win over the team’s heart and attention.

During their romantic couple outing in Switzerland, Dispatch successfully captured their sweet moments at a famous hotel in Basel. While taking their suitcases to the lobby, both Hyomin and Hwang Ui Jo seemed to have a wonderful time with each other. In fact, Hwang Ui Jo even posted how he had tremendous fun during their outings on his Instagram.
