The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed individual Kpop idol brand popularity rankings this month, with Jin from BTS topping the list. Check out the top 100 individual Kpop idol brand reputation rankings for June 2024, featuring the most popular male and female idols right now!
June 2024 Top Individual Kpop Idol Brand Reputation Rankings
From May 29 to June 29, 2024, the Korean Business Research Institute analyzed the brand reputation index of individual idols. They extracted a total of 110,769,278 pieces of big data from 1,730 individual idol brands.
To determine this month’s individual Kpop idol ranking, the institute needed to identify the idols’ brand reputation index. They utilized big data to analyze the consumer participation index to measure brand participation, media, communication, and community indexes. However, compared to 73,949,817 pieces of idol personal brand big data in May, it increased by 49.79 percent.
As a result, BTS Jin topped the ranking, followed by Jang Won Young from IVE in second place. Moreover, ASTRO Cha Eun Woo secured third place. BTS Jungkook ranked fourth, while An Yu Jin from IVE rounded out the top five rankings.

1. BTS Jin
Jin from BTS, who recently discharged from military service, topped the individual Kpop idol ranking for June 2024 with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 660,862
- Media Index: 375,331
- Communication Index: 1,911,204
- Community Index: 3,323,488
As a result, his brand reputation index increased significantly by 287.04%, from 1,620,209 in May to 6,270,885 in June. In the link analysis, the institute identified “military discharge,” “congratulate,” and “charming” as Jin’s related terms.
Furthermore, in the keyword analysis, the institute identified the phrases “free hugs,” “Billboard,” and “Super Tuna” as Jin’s popular keywords. In the positivity-negativity analysis, Jin received a positive score of 90.21%.
In addition, Jin also topped the Top 100 Kpop Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings in June 2024.
2. IVE Jang Won Young
This month, Jang Won Young from IVE had to drop to the second position as her brand reputation index fell by 7.99% from 4,814,980 in May to 4,430,238 in June. The consumer behavior analysis reveals the following results:
- Participation Index: 744,688
- Media Index: 768,455
- Communication Index: 1,284,395
- Community Index: 1,632,699
3. ASTRO Cha Eun Woo
Cha Eun Woo from ASTRO dropped to the third position this month. The male idol’s brand reputation index experienced a 15.00% decrease from 4,802,095 in May to 4,081,551 in June, with the following analysis results:
- Participation Index: 509,870
- Media Index: 768,174
- Communication Index: 1,329,548
- Community Index: 1,473,959
4. BTS Jungkook
Jungkook from BTS rose to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,993,071 in June, marking a notable increase of 63.61% from 2,440,616 in May. The breakdown of indexes is as follows:
- Participation Index: 79,853
- Media Index: 314,107
- Communication Index: 1,523,182
- Community Index: 2,075,929
5. IVE Ahn Yu Jin
Finally, despite the drop in rank, Ahn Yu Jin from IVE secured a spot in the top five this month. The female idol’s brand reputation index decreased by 5.64%, from 3,998,536 in May to 3,773,034 in June, with the following breakdown of indexes:
- Participation Index: 694,174
- Media Index: 827,423
- Communication Index: 974,593
- Community Index: 1,276,845
