TOP 100 Kpop Girl Group Member Brand reputation Rankings in August 2024

On August 18, the Korean Business Research Institute unveiled the latest top 100 individual brand reputation rankings for Kpop girl group members in August 2024. Jang Wonyoung claimed the top spot in this month’s female Kpop idol popularity rankings. Discover the most popular female Kpop idols in the list below!

August 2024 Top Individual Kpop Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings

From July 18 to August 18, 2024, the Korean Business Research Institute comprehensively analyzed individual brand reputations for female Kpop group members. They extracted 95,745,561 pieces of brand data from 675 individual members of girl groups to gain insights into consumer behavior. This analysis measured the participation, media, communication, and community indexes, which contributed to evaluating the female idols’ brand reputation indexes. Compared to July’s data of 110,977,299 pieces of big data, it shows a decrease of 13.73%.

As a result, IVE Jang Won Young, aespa Karina, Cignature JeeWon, IVE An Yu Jin, and aespa Winter clinched the top five Kpop female idol rankings this August. See below the top 30 Kpop female idols in June, July, and August 2024.

Jang Wonyoung from IVE, known for her stunning visuals, topped the individual Kpop idol rankings for Kpop girl group members. Despite rising to the first spot, her brand reputation index slightly decreased by 12.44%, from 6,477,437 in July to 5,671,379 in August, with the following indexes:

• Participation Index: 1,499,780
• Media Index: 1,396,230
• Communication Index:1,047,205
• Community Index:1,728,163

In a more in-depth analysis, the institute discovered that terms like “lovable,” “positive,” and “growth” were among the most popular related terms associated with the idol. Moreover, they identified words such as “Wonyoung Turn,” “Wonyoung Thoughts,” and “Lucky Vicky” as popular topics in keyword analysis. Additionally, Wonyoung achieved an impressive positive score of 91.07% in the positive-negative analysis.

Karina from aespa, who will make her debut acting in a thrilling noir action cinematic performance series titled “MY ARTi FILM” on MNet, dropped to the second rank this month. Unfortunately, her brand reputation index also experienced a significant decrease of 24.09%, dropping from 7,210,532 in July to 5,473,424 in August. Here are the detailed indexes:

• Communication Index: 1,107,498
• Community Index: 1,384,407

JeeWon from Cignature, who captivated the audience at the 2024 Waterbomb in Seoul and kt wiz Y Water Festival, rose to the third position. Her brand reputation index increased by 25.28%, climbing from 2,977,584 in July to 3,730,451 in August. Below are the latest indexes:

An Yu Jin from IVE, the new model of Mardi Mercredi who stunned fans with her impressive figure in Jeans, maintained her position in fourth place. Yu Jin’s brand reputation index increased by 12.32%, from 3,306,874 in July to 3,714,334 in August. Here are the detailed indices:

• Participation Index: 1,086,389
• Media Index: 1,009,543
• Communication Index: 634,858
• Community Index: 983,544

5. aespa Winter

Winter from aespa, who lent her beautiful voice for the animation movie Hatching of Love OST, “The First Moment”, secured the fifth spot in August’s female Kpop idol rankings. The idol’s brand reputation index soared 41.94%, from 2,575,372 in July to 3,655,531 in August, with the following indexes:
