On April 13, the Korean Business Research Institute revealed the top 50 most popular Kpop male groups for April 2024. As a result, SEVENTEEN, NCT, THE BOYZ, TWS, and BTS secured the top five spots on the popularity rankings this April. April 2024 Top Kpop Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korea Business Research Institute generated 44,510,411 Kpop boy group brand big data from March 13, 2024 to April 13, 2024. Using the generated brand big data, the Institute conducted a comprehensive analysis to measure consumer behavior. This analysis determined the boy group brand’s participation, media, communication, and community indexes. However, compared to 48,451,344 brand big data last March, it decreased by 8.13%.
As a result, SEVENTEEN, NCT, THE BOYZ, TWS, and BTS became the top five most popular Kpop male groups in April 2024. Find the top 30 Kpop boy groups for this month below.

1. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN, a Kpop boy band of 13 members, has remained firm at the number one spot since January 2024. The boy band, who will release their best album, “17 IS RIGHT HERE,” on April 29, 2024, achieved a brand value of 4,139,221 this month. Compared to the brand reputation index of 4,049,176 last March, it rose 2.22% with the following indices:
- Participation Index: 289,824
- Media Index: 1,261,687
- Communication Index: 867,362
- Community Index: 1,720,348
Furthermore, in link analysis, the Institute identified “perform,” “reveal,” and “sing along” as the most popular related terms to the group. Meanwhile, in keyword analysis, the Institute found “CARAT,” “encore tour,” and “concert” as the group’s most popular keywords. Moreover, the group obtained a high positive score of 89.02 percent in the positivity-negativity analysis.
2. NCT
This month, NCT, the Kpop boy group with 26 members, reached the second position. Jungwoo from NCT recently sang a song dedicated to Fu Bao, the first panda cub born in Korea in 2020. Fu Bao was loved by many during her time in Korea, but she has now returned to China. In other news, NCT’s Renjun is currently on a hiatus due to his health, and Taeyong is preparing to enlist soon, providing further updates on the group.
The group earned a brand value of 4,034,320 this April, it rose 43.69% from 2,807,659 last March, with the following indices:

3. THE BOYZ
Kpop male group THE BOYZ, who recently won 3 awards at the Asia Star Entertainer Award (ASEA) 2024, remained in the third position this month. However, their brand value experienced a 5.02% decrease this month, from 2,832,031 last March to 2,689,841 this April, with the following indices:

4. TWS
Rookie Kpop boy group TWS recently revealed their group’s fandom name, “42” (SAI), dropped from the second position last month to the fourth position this month. The group’s brand value fell 16.41%, from 2,835,019 last March to 2,369,830 this April with the following indices:

- Media Index: 575,195
- Communication Index: 863,332
- Community Index: 508,521
5. BTS
BigHit’s boy group, BTS, rose to fifth position this month. Several members were recently spotted engaging in various activities during their military service, providing updates for their loyal fans. The group’s youngest member recently created an Instagram account for his pet, Bam.
The group achieved a brand value of 2,065,997 this month. Compared to the brand reputation index of 1,825,922 last March, it rose 13.15% with the following indices:
