In this update, BTS claimed the top spot, overtaking SEVENTEEN after leading for six months. July 2024 Top Kpop Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute measured a total of 49,547,539 pieces of data related to boy group brand reputation from June 13 to July 13, 2024. This analysis included consumer participation, media, communication, and community indexes. Compared to the previous month’s brand data of 45,178,369 pieces, there was a 9.67% increase in data.
In the latest brand reputation rankings, BTS, SEVENTEEN, SHINee, THE BOYZ, and ENHYPEN secured the top five positions. Below, you can discover the rankings for the 30 most popular Kpop boy groups in May, June, and July.

1. BTS
Kpop male group with seven members, BTS, topped the boy group brand reputation rankings for July 2024. While most members are currently fulfilling military service duties, the return of the eldest member, Jin, Jimin’s new album, V’s photo book exhibition, and the upcoming variety show have sparked excitement among their fans.
According to the analysis, the boyband’s brand reputation index increased by 35.67%, from 4,094,611 in June to 5,555,349, with the following indices:
- Participation Index: 202,280
- Media Index: 2,006,294
- Communication Index: 1,230,916
- Community Index: 2,115,859
Furthermore, in link analysis, the institute identified “exhibit,” “participate,” and “release” as popular terms associated with the group. Meanwhile, in keyword analysis, “ARMY,” “Jimin,” and “music” emerged as the group’s top keywords. Additionally, the sentiment analysis of the group revealed a positive ratio of 92.18%.
2. SEVENTEEN
The PLEDIS Entertainment boy band, SEVENTEEN, who made history as the first Kpop band to perform live at the Worthy Farm festival at Glastonbury 2024, secured the second position this month. The boy band’s brand reputation index slightly decreased by 0.31% from 4,574,712 in June to 4,560,496 in July, with the following indices:
- Participation Index: 259,889
- Media Index: 1,554,621
- Communication Index: 840,707
- Community Index: 1,905,278
3. SHINee
SHINee members, who are active with their solo endeavors across various fields, have excelled in bringing joy to their fans without fail. The group’s brand reputation index impressively increased by 144.52% from 1,311,437 in June to 3,206,677 in July, with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 100,832
- Media Index: 755,471
- Communication Index: 876,782
- Community Index: 1,473,592
4. THE BOYZ
Kpop male group THE BOYZ, who kicked off their third world tour, “Zeneration II,” in Seoul on July 12, took fourth in the rankings. The group’s brand reputation index rose by 62.42%, from 1,501,018 in June to 2,437,994 in July, with the following indexes:

- Media Index: 725,460
- Communication Index: 595,557
- Community Index: 1,011,281
5. ENHYPEN
BELIFT LAB’s boyband ENHYPEN, who recently released their third studio album, “Romance Untold,” climbed to fifth place on the ranking this month. The group’s brand reputation index rose by 44.45%, from 1,576,263 in June to 2,276,888 in July, with the following indexes:
