June 2024 Top Kpop Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute examined 50,557,557 pieces of brand data collected between May 9, 2024, and June 9, 2024. The institute calculated the brand reputation index using metrics such as participation index, media index, communication index, and community index for girl group brands. Compared to the 66,272,139 data points in May, there was a decrease of 23.71% in the big data for girl group brands.
In the latest rankings, Kpop girl groups IVE, aespa, ILLIT, (G)I-DLE, and LE SSERAFIM led as the top 5 most popular female groups in May 2024. Explore the top 20 Kpop girl groups for April, May, and June 2024 in the list below.

1. IVE
Kpop girl group IVE, currently on their first world tour, ‘Show What I Have,’ maintained the top position in the Kpop girl group brand rankings for the second consecutive month in June 2024 with a brand reputation index of 5,787,831. However, despite remaining in first place this month, their brand reputation index declined by 30.49% compared to May’s index of 8,326,214, consisting of the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 633,132
- Media Index: 951,748
- Communication Index: 1,666,609
- Community Index: 2,536,342
Moreover, in the link analysis, the institute discovered that the top-related terms for the group were “happy,” “grow,” and “healthy.” On the other hand, in the keyword analysis, the institute revealed that the group’s most popular keywords were “world tour,” “YouTube,” and “elementary school president.” Additionally, the group achieved a positive score of 90.86% in the positivity-negativity analysis.
2. aespa
Kpop female group aespa, who will kick off their ‘SYNK: Parallel Line’ tour later this month, climbed to the second spot in the rankings. Their brand reputation index saw a remarkable 71.17% increase, jumping from 3,160,522 in May to 5,409,956. Here are the breakdown of the indexes:

- Communication Index: 1,806,572
- Community Index: 2,471,032
3. ILLIT
Rookie girl group ILLIT, whose hit song “Magnetic” held onto the Billboard charts for 10 consecutive weeks, slipped to third place in the rankings. The group’s brand reputation index saw a significant drop of 35.68% from May, falling from 5,877,206 to 3,780,049. The specific indexes are as follows:

- Media Index: 864,873
- Communication Index: 1,301,865
- Community Index: 1,249,239
4. (G)I-DLE
The quintet group (G)I-DLE, who is set to kick off their world tour ‘I-DOL’ in August this year, dropped to the fourth position this month. The group’s brand reputation index took a sharp decline of 46.98%, dropping from 4,869,835 in May to 2,582,202 in June, consisting of the following indexes:

5. LE SSERAFIM
The Kpop female group LE SSERAFIM, who became the first Kpop girl group to be named MTV’s Push Artist of the Month in June, dropped to the fifth place this month. The group’s brand reputation index dropped from 4,244,658 in May to 2,424,984 in June, a decrease of 42.87%, with the following indexes:
