The Korean Business Research Institute has released the latest list of the most popular Kpop rookie idol groups for this month. Check out the complete list of the top 50 Kpop rookie idol group brand reputation rankings for September 2024 below!
September 2024: Top 50 Kpop Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute gathered 11,117,286 big data points for new Kpop idol group brands from August 3 to September 3, 2024. This number decreased by 20.47 percent from 13,978,943 big data points collected for new Kpop idol group brands in August.
Using this latest big data, the Institute conducted a consumer behavior analysis to determine the groups’ brand reputation indexes. These indexes were measured by analyzing four key factors: brand participation, media coverage, communication volume, and community involvement indexes.
As a result, RIIZE, TWS, Kiss of Life, tripleS, and ZEROBASEONE dominated the Kpop rookie idol group brand reputation rankings for September 2024. Check out the 30 most popular new Kpop idol group brands in July, August, and September below.
TOP 5
1. RIIZE
Rookie group RIIZE, who recently released their repackaged mini album “RIIZING : Epilogue” with new additional songs, claimed the top spot on the rookie group brand reputation rankings this September. The group’s brand reputation index increased by 5.10%, rising from 1,452,364 in August to 1,526,401in September, with the following indices:
- Participation Index: 222,362
- Media Index: 248,499
- Communication Index: 389,935
- Community Index: 665,605
Further, the Institute conducted a more comprehensive analysis, including link analysis, keywords analysis, and positive-negative ratio analysis. In link analysis, the Institute found “variety show,” “concert,” and “sold out” as the group’s most related terms. Moreover, in keyword analysis, the Institute discovered “Entertainment,” “Performing,” and “Sold Out” as the group’s most popular keywords. In addition, the group obtained a positive ratio of 84.11% in the positive-negative ratio analysis.
2. TWS
Kpop boy group TWS, who recently won multiple awards at 2024 The Fact Music Awards, dropped to the second position. The group’s brand reputation index experienced a 34.43% decrease, falling from 2,091,526 in August to 1,371,512 in September, with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 183,358
- Media Index: 235,889
- Communication Index: 540,058
- Community Index: 412,207
3. Kiss of Life
The new girl group Kiss of Life, which made a captivating performance at the 2024 TMA with the ‘One Piece’ theme, rose to third place in the rookie idol group rankings. The rookie group achieved a brand reputation index of 1,002,046 this September. Compared to the brand reputation index of 990,400 in August, it rose by 1.18%, with the following indices:
- Participation Index: 134,554
- Media Index: 272,844
- Communication Index: 300,170
- Community Index: 294,478
4. tripleS
tripleS, the Kpop girl group with the most members ever (24 members), dropped to fourth place on the list. The female rookie idol group’s brand reputation index saw a 57.32% decline, from 1,788,518 in August to 1,788,518 in September, with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 160,034
- Media Index: 203,948
- Communication Index: 287,364
- Community Index: 112,048
5. ZEROBASEONE
Rookie idol group ZEROBASEONE, who recently set their 4th 1 million sales record with their mini album “Cinema Paradise,” rose to fifth place this month. The group’s brand reputation ranking increased by 22.15%, from 604,880 in August to 738,876 in August, with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 126,028
- Media Index: 181,746
- Communication Index: 236,048
- Community Index: 195,054
