Amid the COVID-19 concerns, the Kpop idol Cho Tzuyu had spent 14-days of self-quarantine in her hometown in the southern city of Tainan, Taiwan. To fight the Covid-19 pandemic, the government of South Korea has a mandatory policy for the people to do self-quarantine and restricted a big mass gathering.
Thus, many Kpop idols are canceling & postponing their tour dates due to Coronavirus concerns without further notice. To keep the safety and the health of the artists, crews, staff, and fans, JYP Entertainment canceled all the artists’ schedules without further notice. In particular, the girl group TWICE, that had canceled TWICE’s Tokyo fan signing that scheduled on Feb. 1 and 2.
Earlier to the COVID-19 outbreak, TWICE was scheduled to have a comeback album after “Feel Special” in 2019. But regarding the Covid-19 concerns, there is still no further information about it.
The Twice’s maknae, Tzuyu, was allowed to go back to her hometown in Tainan, Taiwan, on March 3. Due to the policy of self-quarantine too, there was a possibility that Tzuju couldn’t enter South Korea again if she had any symptoms of the Covid-19.
During the self-quarantine in her hometown, Tainan, she kept updating her condition through Twice’s social media account. The visual member of Twice shared her pretty bare face and a modest smile in a couple of pictures posted.
Her fresh-face without makeup revealed the natural beauty of her. No wonder she ranked #1 in “Most Beautiful Faces of 2019.” Another picture that she shared was a special selca with her family’s dog, Gucci.
Although she couldn’t go anywhere during her staycation in Tainan, the lead dancer of TWICE, informed her fans that she ate well. She also cares to ask how her fans were doing. She posted some pictures that showed several Taiwanese dishes that look tasty and tantalizing our palate when looking at it.
In the caption, she wrote: “I ate well, but I wasn’t the one who cook it. ONCEs, everyone is doing well, right? I’m hoping to see you soon.” Moreover, Tzuyu’s mother revealed that during her self-quarantine at home, her daughter has been enjoying her time by eating and watching movies.
On March 15, JYP Entertainment asked her to return to South Korea for continuing work. Arrived at South Korea’s Incheon International Airport on March 18, she should undergo another self-quarantined for 14-days before starting her activities.
After she returned to South Korea, the pre-order of her first photobook, “Yes, I am Tzuyu,” can be ordered from March 23 – 31. The photobook has two kinds of color, which are peach and blue colors. It will be released on April 27. This photobook hopefully can cheer the ONCEs during the COVID-19.
