After making exciting news of starring in a new drama and reuniting with “Beyond Evil” director, Lee Do Hyun had to temporarily take down his Instagram account, losing all his 5.5 million followers after an irresponsible individual hacked his account.

Lee Do Hyun Instagram Account Was Hacked – What REALLY Happened?

On August 24 at 1 AM KST, Lee Do Hyun Instagram account suddenly displayed a random photo of a mouse. The caption stated that the image was “owned by Ratobot”. While people immediately realized what happened and that Lee Do Hyun Instagram had been hacked, a series of random photos continued appearing in his account. And the most frequently appearing images were of mice and random men.

After posting the random photos, the individual who hacked the Lee Do Hyun Instagram account posted a message with the actor’s photos. First, they claimed to be doing it for a joke because they were bored. And then, they promised fans that they would return the email and password back to the original so Lee Do Hyun’s team could access the Instagram account.

Not only that, in the message, the hacker also stated that Lee Do Hyun should have hired better advisors. So fans believe this misdemeanor was directed not at Lee Do Hyun but at his staffs instead.

Who Hacked the Instagram Account?

After what happened to Lee Do Hyun Instagram account, the public realized that the hacker continuously put the hashtag “ratobot” in the posts. As of today, the hashtag only has a few posts, which mostly target Korean entertainers.

These posts came from user @bonn4tte3 under the name of Albert Liam, a Korean of American descent.

With his 34k of total followers, Albert Liam then claimed to have the next targets for his hacking project. The first one is IVE Jang Wonyoung. And under many of his alternate Instagram accounts, the hacker added that EXO Xiumin would be the second.

Lee Do Hyun’s Account Temporarily Down – Possibly Under Maintenance

Following the incident, Lee Do Hyun’s Yuehua Entertainment agency is currently working on restoring the data from the hacked Instagram account. They apologized for what happened to Lee Do Hyon and asked for an understanding until they could resolve the issue.

In the meantime, Lee Do Hyu’s Instagram account has been temporarily under maintenance. That is why you might encounter “Page not available” when you visit his account.

**New EXCITING Drama by “Beyond Evil” Director**

At the same time, amidst the huge incident of his hacked Instagram account, Lee Do Hyun will also be facing new challenges in his new drama.

On August 23, Korean media reported that Lee Do Hyun would be reuniting with “Beyond Evil” director in a new drama, “Bad Mom”. Starring actress Ra Mi Ran as well, Lee Do Hyun new drama will tell a touching comedy story about a relationship between a high-achieving mom and her son.

Lee Do Hyun will play the character Kang Ho, the son of Ra Mi Ran’s high-achieving mom character. Kang Ho became a prosecutor as his mother wished. However, one day, he suffered from amnesia after an unexpected car accident. Then, he loses all his memory and returns as a child.

It is highly anticipated how the bonds between the mother and her son form once again after the accident, knowing that she had devoted all her life to raising her child.
