Why Was Taeyong Not in Beyond Live – NCT: Resonance Concert?

As scheduled, NCT holds Beyond LIVE – NCT: Resonance (Global Wave) Concert on December 27, at 3 pm KST. However, NCT-zen cannot find the group leader, Taeyong. It is reported that there is something wrong with NCT Taeyong health; he needs to rest and receive treatment. Let’s hope for Taeyong’s speedy recovery.

On December 24, SM Entertainment as NCT’s agency released an official statement:

This is SM Entertainment.

We ask for the understanding of fans.

Member Taeyong’s herniated disk in his lower back has relapsed, so he will inevitably be absent from all scheduled activities, including the Beyond LIVE – NCT: RESONANCE [Global Wave].

We ask for the generous understanding of fans, and we will do our best for Taeyong’s treatment so he can fully focus on recovering his health.

Resonance Pt. 2 Album Sales

Despite the unpleasant news from NCT due to Taeyong health, the group has earned the title of “double million sellers” with their Resonance Pt. 2 album.

Announced on December 23, NCT has successfully sold over 1,217,122 album copies of Resonance Pt. 2 after its release in November. They break their own album sales record for Resonance Pt. 1, which recorded over one million sales in seven days.

The combination of Resonance Pt. 1 and Resonance Pt. 2 album sales are more than 2,680,920 copies.

Other albums sales

Meanwhile, NCT 127 Neo Zone has reached 1,481,039 album sales so far this year. NCT Dream has sold 674,928 copies of their Reload album, while WayV Awaken The World album reached 280,133 album sales.
