The Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards 2023 Winners
On October 21, the Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards ceremony took place at the Haeoreum Grand Theater. Jang Ye Won and Jang Dong Yoon hosted the ceremony, which showcased thrilling performances by esteemed Korean artists.
In a meaningful ceremony, six exceptional artists were honored with the prestigious Order of Cultural Merit, acknowledging their remarkable accomplishments.
Furthermore, the event honored seven artists and groups with Presidential Commendations. Eight artists and groups were honored with Prime Minister’s Commendations. In addition, ten artists and groups were graciously bestowed with the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Commendations.
Making headlines, singer Lee Mi Ja made history by becoming the first pop musician to be bestowed with the esteemed Geumgwan Order of Cultural Merit.
