On February 22, the first edition of D AWARDS for 2024, a new music awards ceremony by the Korean newspaper DongA in collaboration with UPICK, honored artists who have excelled in the Kpop world over the past year. Check out the complete list of winners from the 1st D-AWARDS 2024 below.
Complete list of Winners from the 1st D AWARDS 2024
Top Korean actress Go Min Si from “Sweet Home” and Lee Jong Won from “Brewing Love” co-hosted the first-ever D AWARDS, which took place at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium, Seoul. Popular Korean actors and actresses such as Park Jin Young, Ko Kyung Pyo, Ahn Eun Jin, Cha Seun Won, Kim Ji Eun, BAe In Hyuk, and more presented the awards.
In D AWARDS, D Awards Delights Blue Label (Bonsang) is the top prize for Kpop artists who made waves last year, while the D Awards Dreams Silver Label is for new artists who will lead in Kpop’s future.
Kpop male group ENHYPEN won big with the most awards, winning five in total, including Album of the Year, D Awards Delights (Blue Label), Best Group, Best Tour, and UPICK Popularity Award (Group).
Following ENHYPEN, there were RIIZE and TWS, each with four awards. RIIZE received Performance of the Year, D Awards Delights (Blue Label), Best Group, and Best Video, while TWS won Rookie of the Year, D Awards Delights (Blue Label), D Awards Dreams (Silver Label), and Best Choreography.
