“Min Heejin engaging in shamanism” was one of the main accusations in the massive controversy between HYBE and the ADOR CEO. And yet, a recent chat log emerged showing a different side of this shamanism accusation against NewJeans producer Min Heejin. But what had exactly happened? Was everything simply a media play from the giant corporation? Check out the complete discussion below.
New Evidence Emerged on the Shamanism Accusation Against NewJeans Producer Min Heejin
NewJeans producer and ADOR CEO Min Heejin is currently battling against her own parent company, HYBE Corporation. According to recent reports, HYBE is already preparing to kick out Min Heejin and select candidates to replace her as the CEO of ADOR. The candidates include Lee Jae Sang (CSO), Kim Joo Young (Chief Human Resources Officer, CHRO), and Lee Kyung Jun (Chief Financial Officer, CFO) of HYBE Corporation.
Amid the escalating controversy between HYBE and ADOR, new evidence regarding CEO Min Heejin shamanism emerged. A screenshot of a chat message between NewJeans producer Min Heejin and the alleged shaman went viral, only to backfire against HYBE.
Previously, NewJeans producer and ADOR CEO Min Heejin was under a lot of scrutiny after HYBE revealed that she had made many business decisions after “consulting with a shaman.” Even after Min Heejin rebutted in the press conference that the shaman was only a friend, accusations only escalated after the alleged consultation discussed BTS’s military service.
Then, on May 23, a post on the Korean online community TheQoo gained massive attention for revealing a chat message between Min Heejin and her alleged shaman friend. This text message occurred around June 2021, before the establishment of NewJeans’ label, ADOR.
In the message, Min Heejin was asking her friend which name was better for the new company: “All Joy” or “ADOR.” And the alleged shaman friend said ADOR is better.
- MHJ: #1 All Joy, #2 ADOR, which one do you like?
- Shaman: #2
- MHJ: So, “All Joy” is not that good?
- Shaman: Choose whatever you want~~ I just don’t like Joy.
- MHJ: Why?
- Shaman: I just have bad memories about it.
Was it Only HYBE Media Play Against the ADOR CEO?
In addition to the chat message, the post also highlighted the fact that it was a friendly chat between friends. Therefore, when HYBE accused NewJeans producer Min Heejin of consulting a shaman for business decisions as ADOR CEO, fans believed it was just a media play.
“Even when these messages were really edited by HYBE, it really doesn’t feel like she’s consulting the shaman as a client.
Instead, it was more like chatting with a friend. She even gives a casual “good job” at the end, lol.
Seriously, All Joy just doesn’t cut it. Thank goodness the shaman picked ADOR instead!”

Due to this revelation, the accusation of shamanism against Min Heejin now backfires on HYBE. Korean fans began laughing at HYBE for their desperate media play. Yet, public sympathy only moves further away from the company, defending Min Heejin and her artist, NewJeans.
- “You’re calling this a shaman session?? Lol”
- “She literally goes, ‘Yeah, do whatever you want’ – hilarious!”
- “She’s just chatting with a friend, and HYBE is calling it a shaman session?”
- “Why does HYBE always end up looking clueless?”
- “The shaman even said to do whatever you want, lol.”
- “If this counts as a shaman session, then I must be having one every time I ask theqoo users for advice!”
Still, what are your thoughts on the chat message? Was it really friendly chatting between friends? Or was it still considered a consultation? Please share your opinions with us.

Hahahaha this is ridiculous!
I want to see the "consultation" about BTS military service. What did she discuss?
