YG Announces BABYMONSTER Grand Scale Comeback Set for October 2024 Release Date
It’s finally official! YG Entertainment has finally confirmed a release date for BABYMONSTER comeback set in October 2024!
On September 23, multiple Korean media outlets reported an official announcement from YG Entertainment that BABYMONSTER upcoming comeback has been set for an October 2024 release date. According to the announcement, this comeback will be the very first full album for BABYMONSTER since its first debut last year, and the official re-debut was earlier this year.
Not only that, but YG Entertainment also teased that the company has prepared a grand-scale comeback for BABYMONSTER. It includes multiple music videos with magnificent locations.
“We’re kicking off the music video shoot for their first full album today. The girls will be filming several videos, including the one for the title track, at various locations we’ve already secured, and they will be completing the large-scale project with full support.”
YG Entertainment.
This grand-scale comeback set in the October 2024 release date has especially reflected YG’s confidence in BABYMONSTER. It suggests the company’s determination to put full effort into promoting not only the title track but also various other songs in the album and making them widely known.
That is especially reassuring with the fierce competition between 5th-generation girl groups after the debut of FIFTY FIFTY 2.0 and MEOVV.
“The recording of BABYMONSTER’s first full-length album has been completed, and we are in the final stages of finishing touches.
The choreography for several songs, which will be filmed in the upcoming weeks, has also been completed.”
YG Entertainment.
FIRST Full Album for the YG’s Next Generation Princesses This 2024
Previously, BABYMONSTER’s skyrocketing fame has been nothing short of remarkable.
After debuting in April with their mini-album BABYMONS7ER and the hit track SHEESH, the girls shattered records, becoming the fastest Kpop girl group to hit 100 million views on their debut music video. Now, they’re sitting at almost 300 million views, with their performance video also racking up over 150 million views. Among the other 5th-generation girl groups, BABYMONSTER had indeed impressed the public with a strong start!
Therefore, the public has highly anticipated that the first full album will showcase not only the top-notch visuals of BABYMONSTER but also its powerful live performance abilities.
After all, the fierce competition of the 5th generation girl group’s live vocals started after YG’s last evaluation footage of the group. And after various live vocal disappointments, including LE SSERAFIM’s Coachella incident, BABYMONSTER’s vocals have been gaining more attention over time.
