The 2024 MBC Drama Awards ceremony was held on December 30, 2024, with Kim Sung Joo and Chae Soo Bin taking the spotlight as the hosts of the show.
Veteran actor Han Suk Kyu won the Grand Prize (Daesang) for his excellent portrayal in the recent drama “Doubt,” while his co-star, Chae Won Bin, took home the Best New Actress award.
The Korean prequel “Chief Detective 1958” won the Best Drama award for 2024, with its star Lee Je Hoon winning the Best Actor Award for Miniseries and Lee Dong Hwi receiving the Excellence Award for Miniseries.
Moreover, the lead couple from the recent buzzworthy drama series “When the Phone Rings” won the MBC’s Best Couple Award, as the audience voted for their perfect chemistry in the series. Notably, the male lead, Yoo Yeon Seok, won the Best Actor award for Miniseries, and the female lead, Chae Soo Bin, took home the Excellence Award for Actress in Miniseries.
