95th Academy Awards Best International Feature Film Nominee DECISION TO LEAVE Premieres on tvN Movies

Starring Tang Wei and Park Hae-il, the multi-award-winning film DECISION TO LEAVE will premiere on Saturday, 11 February at 9pm (JKT) on tvN Movies. In addition, an encore of the film will play on Wednesday, 15 February at 9pm (JKT) on tvN Movies as well.

DECISION TO LEAVE Synopsis

Decision To Leave follows detective Hae-joon (Park Hae-il) investigating the death of a man who fell from a mountaintop. When he meets the deceased man’s wife, Seo-rae (Tang Wei), he starts to suspect her at the same time that he begins feeling attracted to her.

What will happen when a target of suspicion turns into a romantic obsession? Amidst the rising tension of the criminal investigation, the film delicately captures the emotions of two characters who feel a special curiosity and unexpected affinity for each other, providing an intriguing mix of suspense and romance. The film is helmed by acclaimed director Park Chan-wook (The Handmaiden, Oldboy).

In April 2022, The modern romantic thriller was selected to compete for the Palme d’Or at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, where Park Chan-wook won Best Director. Decision To Leave also swept awards at various film festivals and awards ceremonies, including Best Actor, Actress, Director, Screenplay and Film at the 2022 Blue Dragon Film Awards. Decision To Leave has also been nominated for International Feature Film at the upcoming 95th Academy Awards in March.
