Former NMIXX Member JINI Announces Solo Debut on Twitter and Instagram
Former NMIXX member Jinni will soon make a powerful solo debut under the name of Kpop soloist JINI.
On September 14 at midnight KST, JINI took her solo debut announcement on Twitter and Instagram, posting stunning images of iron hands and an iconic logo.
According to the official announcement on Twitter and Instagram, JINI upcoming solo debut will be in the form of an exciting EP. Sporting the title of “JINI 1st EP: An Iron Hand in A Velvet Glove”, the Kpop idol is ready to reinvent her name in the Kpop music industry as a powerful soloist.

A MORE Promising Career as JINI the Kpop Soloist?
For almost a decade, Jinni has been known as one of the most promising trainees in JYP Entertainment. She was already famous even before her debut with NMIXX because of her impressive, versatile talents.
Not only did Jinni possess gorgeous visuals, but she was also one of the most impressive all-rounder Kpop idols. During her trainee days, Jinni was heralded as a promising prodigy. She repeatedly attracted massive attention from fans every time she made appearances.
With impeccable vocal skills, powerful rapping, and impressive stage presence, Jinni was supposed to be the center of NMIXX.
Unfortunately, once she debuted in NMIXX, Jinni did not receive as much attention as expected.
Despite her queen-like features and qualities, Jinni was unable to shine because NMIXX consisted of 7 all-rounder members. As a member of NMIXX, Jinni was merely given small parts of dancing, singing, and rap. What’s worse, rumors even stated that JYP had removed Jinni from the center position of NMIXX.
Ultimately, Jinni even suffered from malicious comments and slanders from fans due to the alleged favoritism towards other NMIXX members.
Consequently, Jinni announced her departure from NMIXX last December. Since then, Jinni has removed one “N” from her name. She rebranded a new stage name as Kpop soloist ‘JINI’, joined a new agency, and opened her own official Twitter and Instagram.
Today, as a Kpop soloist, JINI is ready to take on the music industry with her upcoming solo debut, “JINI 1st EP: An Iron Hand in A Velvet Glove”. And we have plenty of reasons why JINI upcoming solo debut will make her one of the most successful Kpop soloists.
