The highly-anticipated spin-off of “Hospital Playlist” has been under repeated delay. Spin-Off Delayed, Director Confirmed “Hospital Playlist” Season 3 with Undetermined Release Date
After the repeated and unavoidable delays happening to the spin-off series, “Wise Residents Life” or “Resident Playbook,” the director decided to push plans for “Hospital Playlist” Season 3.
On April 13, OSEN reported a confirmation occurring the day before. All the cast and producer/director of prominent series “Hospital Playlist,” had previously appeared as guests on a Korean YouTube channel.
Then, in the video, one of “Hospital Playlist” cast members, Jung Kyung Ho, literally asked regarding the director’s plans about another season for the series. Along with Jung Kyung Ho, actors Yoo Yeon Seok and Jeon Mi Do voiced the same thoughts. They also revealed that Season 3 was always a part of their plans.
Responding to the actors’ questions, “Hospital Playlist” director Shin Won Ho reacted with a confident answer. The director confirmed that he would eventually create “Hospital Playlist” Season 3, but still don’t make specific plans for storyline and release date.
“I’ll do it. Someday, I’ll just make it happen.
Thank you so much for your enthusiasm. I’m so grateful for the high anticipation showed by both all the cast members as well as the fans.
It’s hard to gather these amazing actors, so thank you for asking me to create the Season 3.
I discussed this with writer Lee Woo Jung, and I just didn’t want to do it if any of you doesn’t take part on the series. So, I will be so happy even to create one even when the viewers’ ratings don’t come out good later.”

Responding to the director’s statement, one of the main cast, Jo Jung Suk expressed how much the series has been deeply engraved in his heart.
“‘Hospital Playlist’ holds a special place in my heart. The experiences of acting, crying, and conversing together in the drama, it all truly mirrored real life for us.
It was this strange sensation, something I had never experienced before. So, I really missed all of you guys!”

Finally, all these statements confirmed that although it may not have an exact release date, “Hospital Playlist” Season 3 will be coming out eventually. However, it doesn’t mean that the director is regretting his decision for the spin-off.
