Korean Drama Actor Brand Reputation Rankings in January 2023

The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 105,886,069 brand big data of 50 Korean actors who appeared in dramas aired from December 19, 2022, to January 19, 2023. Compared to 70,106,285 drama actor brand big data last December, it increased by 51.04 percent.

As a result, actress Song Hye Kyo who captivated viewers with her appearance in the Korean drama The Glory came out as the No. 1 drama actor on the January list.

Song Hye Kyo topped the list with a skyrocketing brand reputation index of 10,041,913 this month. In the keyword analysis, Song Hye Kyo’s top-ranking phrases include “Netflix, Lim Ji Yeon, school violence.”

Meanwhile, in the link analysis, her top-ranking related terms include “revenge, punish, and breakthrough.” In the positive-negative analysis, the actress earned 86.99 percent of a positive rate.

Then, actress Lim Ji Yeon at fourth place with a brand value of 7,068,253, followed by actor Lee Do Hyun rounded out the top five most popular Korean drama actors this month with a brand value of 4,290,480.
