On May 10 (US time), the 83rd annual Peabody Awards winners announced. The Korean language drama series Pachinko is among the selected winners. It tells an unforgettable tale of war and peace, love and separation, victory and judgement.

Pachinko is an Apple TV drama series based on the bestseller novel by Lee Min Jin. Directors Kogonada and Justin Chon directed the show, and Soo Hugh and Lauren Yee wrote the script.
The popular series has captured the attention of viewers around the globe with its fascinating plot that begins with a forbidden romance and takes the audience on a journey through Korea, Japan, and the United States.
This captivating drama features top-notch South Korean actors, including Oscar-winning Yoon Yuh Jung, Lee Min Ho, Kim Min Ha, Jin Ha, and many others.

Lee Min Ho Celebrates 17th Debut Anniversary & PACHINKO Peabody Winner
On May 10, actor Lee Min Ho celebrated his 17th year in the entertainment industry. And surprisingly, Pachinko drama was also honored at the Peabody Awards on the same day.
The actor, widely known for acting in numerous hit Korean dramas, took to his personal Instagram and showed lots of presents (flowers, cakes, and more) with the caption, “happy today 17th anniversary and Peabody winner (love) thx everyone.”
