BLACKPINK Leads the Korean Advertisement Model Brand Reputation Rankings in May 2023

The Korean Business Research Institute has collected and analyzed 28,352,153 advertisement model brand big data from April 18 to May 18, 2023. Compared to 26,432,588 advertising model brand big data in March, it increased by 7.26 percent.

As a result, BLACKPINK climbed up to the No.1 spot on the list, followed by NewJeans, Lim Young Woong, Song Heung Min, and BTS, which completed this month’s top five list of Korean advertisement models.

BLACKPINK ranked first in this month’s Korean ad model with a brand value of 1,635,215, showing an increase of 1.69 percent since April.

In the keyword analysis, BLACKPINK’s most popular phrases were “Busan Expo, airplane, and rapping.” Meanwhile, their most popular related terms were “release, cheer, and promote.” In addition, their positive-negative analysis showed an 87.95 percent positive rate.

Dropped to No. 2 this month, NewJeans earned a brand value of 1,600,113, followed by Lim Young Woong at No. 3 with a brand value of 1,559,416.

On the other hand, soccer star Son Heung Min rose to fourth place. His brand value increased by 25.61 percent since last month, reaching a total score of 1,521,096 in May. Rounding out the top five was BTS, with a brand value of 1,486,203, a 4.78 percent increase since April.
