On December 9, Korean media reported an official announcement from SM Entertainment. The announcement mentioned that NCT ‘Triple J’ members Johnny, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo had gotten injured in an accident. This accident happened while the three NCT members were filming a commercial.

So, what really happened in the accident that caused the three NCT members injured?

Further in the announcement, SM Entertainment explained that an accident happened during commercial filming that caused NCT ‘Triple J’ Johnny, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo to fall and injured.

During the filming, a jungle gym structure collapsed, which caused the three NCT members to fall. Immediately, the NCT ‘Triple J’ members went to the hospital for treatment and examination. However, medical professionals suggested more detailed checkups for a more complete and clear result.

Detail Examinations Showed Minor Bruises from The Accident

On December 10, the results of the complete examination were finally available, and SM Entertainment updated fans and media.

According to the updates, the hospital examination result showed nothing more than minor bruises on NCT Johnny, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo. Therefore, the NCT ‘Three J’ members decided to return home for complete rest.

“The examination results thankfully showed nothing other than minor bruises. The three members have all returned home.
Still, we’ll prioritize the members’ health and they plan to rest to prevent from developing aftereffects.”

SM Canceled Jungwoo’s Appearance in Music Core Broadcast & Delay SMCU Pre-Recording due to the Fall Accident

Finally, due to the fall and accident happening to the three NCT members, SM Entertainment decided to cancel Jungwoo’s appearance on MBC Music Core.

NCT Jungwoo has been a permanent host of the show alongside Lee Know of Stray Kids and Kim Minju. However, the injury made it impossible for Jungwoo to participate in the upcoming broadcast. After all, the three NCT members must focus on regaining their health and making a complete recovery.
