NMIXX Showcased Stray Kids “Thunderous” Cover at KCON 2022

JYP new girl group and super rookie star, NMIXX, has just delivered the finest performance of Stray Kids “Thunderous”, and hopefully, it has done their sunbaenims proud.

On May 7, KCON 2022 Premiere hosted its first day in Seoul, in which JYP new girl group NMIXX participated as one of its participants. During the event, NMIXX delivered a performance of Stray Kids hit song, “Thunderous,” of NOEASY 2nd Album.

NMIXX Did Stray Kids Proud with an Outstanding Performance with Their FINEST Skills

During their cover performance of “Thunderous”, NMIXX truly showcased their finest skills as one of JYP Entertainment’s aces. As we all know, JYP Entertainment had poured everything they had into this new girl group consisting of all all-rounder members.

Not only all NMIXX members can sing exceptionally well, but they also possess gorgeous visuals, excellent taste in fashion, and the most refined dancing skills. Moreover, as a JYP Entertainment rookie, NMIXX truly appears as if they have been longer in the South Korean music industry with overflowing experience.

Like their beloved sunbaenims, Stray Kids, NMIXX is basically the female version of JYP Entertainment’s performance group with the finest pure skills and talents.

What Happened to NMIXX’s Leader Haewon at KCON 2022 “Thunderous” Cover?

Unfortunately, NMIXX precious leader Haewon had to take a step back and take down her performance a notch in their cover performance of Stray Kids “Thunderous”.

Similar to Stray Kids Felix’s case, JYP Entertainment announced that NMIXX leader Haewon had suffered a minor ankle injury. That is why the beautiful and talented leader of NMIXX had to sit on a stool while performing Stray Kids “Thunderous” cover at KCON 2022.

“Last week, NMIXX member Haewon suffered a minor ankle injury during practice, so she visited the hospital and underwent a thorough examination.”

Let’s Imagine How Stray Kids and NMIXX Future Collaboration Would Be Like

Finally, while there has been no official response from Stray Kids regarding this “Thunderous” cover, fans have always been excited about the possible collaboration between these two siblings.

After all, it is a public secret that Stray Kids genius leader Bang Chan has an extremely close relation to NMIXX Lily. Bang Chan even stated that he didn’t like it when Lily called him too formally as “sunbaenim” due to their close relationship. So even after NMIXX officially debuted, Bang Chan wanted Lily to keep calling him “oppa” as usual.

Stray kids Bang Chan mentioned Lily on one of his recent VLIVE ?

chan says that it’s weird for nmixx lily to call him sunbaenim “yeah don’t call me sunbaenim.. just call me oppa that’s much more natural ㅋㅋㅋ”pic.twitter.com/SmquXkJo45

Besides, NMIXX Lily also once mentioned that she would love to have the chance to collaborate with Stray Kids 3RACHA. Further in the wishes, she also noted that hip-hop would be the most fitting genre for the collaboration since Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han are all outstanding rappers.

At the same time, Lily even jokingly imagined if the collaboration really happened, all the 3RACHA rappers would also take turns and be responsible for the high notes. As for Lily, who has been famous for her extraordinary vocal, she would become the rapper instead.

Has NMIXX Done You Proud Too?

Finally, while NMIXX might have done Stray Kids proud with their finest cover performance of “Thunderous”, what about you? Did they make you proud too? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments and Kpoppost Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for more NMIXX and Stray Kids updates.
