“Shakespeare in Love” Teaser Video Featuring Kim Yoo Jung, Jung So Min, Chae So Bin, Kim Seung Cheol, Lee Sang Yi, and Jung Moon Sung
On November 30, the SHOWNOTE theatre unveiled the “Shakespeare In Love” teaser video on its official Youtube channel. The teaser video features the play’s lead roles: Kim YooJung, Kim Sung Cheol, Chae Soo Bin, Lee Sang Yi, Jung So Min, and Jung Moon Sung.
The theatre play “Shakespeare in Love” is based on a film of the same name in 1998 starring Joseph Fiennes as William Shakespeare and Gwyneth Paltrow as Viola de Lesseps. It tells about how the story of Romeo and Juliet began with the outrageous imagination of a tremendous literary when he was still a new writer in his youth.
Three lead couples will play Viola and Shakespeare in the upcoming Korean theatre play Shakespeare in Love. The first couple is Kim YooJung and Kim Sung Cheol, Jung So Min and Jung Moon Sung, and Chae Soo Bin and Lee Sang Yi.
Since it will be the first time Korean actors will work together on stage, the anticipation and attention from fans worldwide are high, especially on the actors’ live performances and the chemistry between the actors on the stage.
“Shakespeare in Love” Teaser Video
On December 1, actress Kim YooJung shared her pictures on her personal Instagram. Along with her post, she also wrote a caption, “From today, and November collection.”
Among the pictures she shared, one picture of her wearing a long dress like an aristocratic woman in the Elizabethan era attracts attention. With sparkling eyes and a bright smile, the actress emanated a dazzling royal princess vibe in a gorgeous gown. The picture was taken while filming the “Shakespeare In Love” teaser video.
In the teaser video, Jung So Min plays the role of Viola. She dressed like a man to participate in an audition for a play. Meanwhile, actress Chae Soo Bin also showed her graceful charm in a long dress as Viola, the noblewoman. And actors Kim Sung Cheol, Lee Sang Yi, and Jung Moon Sung were also dressed like charismatic royals who exuded their charms with deep and solemn eyes.

Grand Opening and Venue
The Korean play “Shakespeare in Love” will premiere in Korea on January 28, 2023. The stage play will take place at Seoul Arts Center – CJ Towol Theatre, a grand theatre for multi-performances with a capacity of 1004 seats.
