Building on the success of NCT 127, who recently dropped their fifth studio album earlier this month, SM Entertainment’s roster of top artists, including aespa, Red Velvet, Taeyeon, and TVXQ, along with the emerging sensation RIIZE, are set to make comeback and release new music in the coming months.

NCT 127’s fifth studio album, “Fact Check,” released on October 6, has dominated local charts, securing top positions on the Hanteo Chart, HOTTRACKS, Circle Chart, Line Music’s Top 100 Album chart (Japan), and QQ Music’s Digital Album Sales chart (China). Meanwhile, Super Junior Yesung’s fifth mini-album, “Unfading Sense,” released on October 4, has garnered significant attention, soaring to the top of the iTunes Top Albums charts in 16 countries.
And now SM Entertainment artists are reading to release other chart-topping tracks, albums, and scheduled tours. Here’s the lineup, including RIIZE, aespa, Taeyeon, TVXQ, Red Velvet, and more.
Exciting Pre-Debut Campaign by NCT NEW TEAM and RIIZE’s Anticipated Comeback
NCT NEW TEAM, scheduled for an official debut in 2024, has embarked on an engaging pre-debut campaign, launching their pre-debut single album, “Hands Up,” on October 8. The album features the title track, “Hands Up,” and the accompanying track, “We Go!”. The group has commenced a pre-debut tour in Japan, performing in cities including Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka.

Meanwhile, following their successful debut in September with “Get a Guitar,” RIIZE is gearing up for a comeback in late October with a new track. Their debut single quickly achieved million-seller status, selling over 1.02 million copies within the first week. Additionally, the title track, “Get a Guitar,” also gained popularity, reaching No. 18 on Melon’s weekly chart and No. 16 on the daily chart as of October 11. The upcoming track promises to maintain the same level of power and attention.
SHINee’s Taemin Returns with “Guilty”
Taemin, a member of SHINee, is set to make a solo return with his fourth mini-album, “Guilty,” on October 30, following the successful celebration of SHINee’s 15th anniversary. This highly anticipated comeback comes after his third mini-album, “Advice,” released in May 2021. Additionally, the new mini-album will feature six tracks showcasing Taemin’s unique musicality.
aespa, Red Velvet, and Taeyeon’s Upcoming Releases
After the triumphant conclusion of their first world tour across Asia, North and South America, and Europe, aespa is preparing to release a new mini-album titled “Drama” on November 10. This follows the massive success of their third mini-album, “MY WORLD,” which earned them the title of a double-million seller and set records for Kpop girl groups. And now, aespa is expected to continue their momentum with their upcoming album.

Meanwhile, Red Velvet is making a comeback in November with a new album, showcasing the group’s versatility. This release follows their previous EP, “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday,” which achieved million-seller status.
In addition, Taeyeon is also set to release a new album in November, following her third full album, “INVU,” released last February. In celebration of their 20th anniversary since their debut in December, TVXQ will mark the occasion with the highly-anticipated comeback and release of their ninth studio album. The “20&2” (20th Anniversary & Two Members) celebration will kick off with the album’s release on December 26, the day of their anniversary. Additionally, they will encompass a concert, exhibition, and more.
