On September 22, the Korean Business Research Institute revealed the most popular individual female idols from Kpop girl groups for September, with aespa’s Karina taking the lead. Check out the full list of the top 100 individual Kpop girl group member brand reputation rankings for September 2024.
September 2024: Top Individual Kpop Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute extracted 100,242,961 brand big data of 675 individuals of the girl groups from August 22 to September 22, 2024, for the analysis of big data in September 2024. Compared to the 95,745,561 individual girl group member brands’ big data in August, it increased by 4.70%.
Further, the institute used the latest brand big data to perform consumer behavior analysis. This analysis measured the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index to obtain individual girl group members’ brand reputation index. Then, the institute determined the Kpop girl group member rankings in order.

TOP 5
1. aespa Karina
Karina from aespa, who made waves in some variety shows this year, topped the Kpop girl group member brand reputation rankings for September 2024. Her brand reputation index increased by an impressive 18.98%, climbing from 5,473,424 in August to a remarkable 6,512,050 in September. Here are the detailed indexes:
- Participation Index: 1,590,486
- Media Index: 1,443,178
- Communication Index: 1,891,559
- Community Index: 1,586,827
Furthermore, the institute found ‘Beautiful,’ ‘Unrivaled,’ and ‘Changing’ in the link analysis, which showed the most popular terms related to Karina from aespa. Additionally, they identified ‘Supernova,” MY ARTi Film,’ and ‘Synchro U’ as the most popular keywords associated with the female idol. Finally, the institute found that Karina achieved a positive ratio of 93.42% in the positive-negative ratio analysis.
2. IVE Jang Won Young
Jang Won Young from IVE, who recently shared her beauty routine, secured the second position on the list. The singer’s brand reputation index slightly rose by 3.65%, rising from 5,671,379 in August to 5,878,590 in September, with the following indexes:

- Media Index: 1,653,818
- Communication Index: 931,600
- Community Index: 1,504,592
3. aespa Winter
Winter of aespa, who recently joined the exciting variety show “City Z Goes to the Countryside” alongside Miyeon from (G)I-DLE, secured third place on the list. The talented idol’s brand reputation index jumped by an impressive 19.03%, rising from 3,655,531 in August to 4,351,148 in September, with the following indexes:

- Communication Index: 1,637,585
- Community Index: 1,163,080
4. IVE An Yujin
An Yujin, the leader of the Kpop girl group IVE, who demonstrated impressive professionalism when handling a wardrobe malfunction during a performance, secured the fourth position this month. Her brand reputation index experienced a slight increase of 1.96%, rising from 3,714,334 in August to 3,787,055 in September 2024. Here are the detailed indexes:

5. Girls’ Generation Taeyeon
Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation, who recently collaborated on a new version of Sam Smith’s hit song “I’m Not The Only One” for its 10th anniversary edition featuring Korean verses, rose to fifth position this month. Despite climbing the ranks, her brand reputation index saw a decline of 15.42%, falling from 3,608,232 in August to 3,051,966 in September, with the following indexes:
