On October 12, the Korean Business Research Institute revealed the exciting Kpop boy group brand reputation rankings for October 2024, featuring the current most popular male idol groups. Let’s dive into this exciting top 50 ranking and see if your favorite Kpop male idol groups made a cut!
October 2024: Top 50 Kpop Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings
From September 12 to October 12, 2024, the Korean Business Research Institute collected 55,672,399 data points from boy group brand big data. Through consumer behavior analysis, they measured boy group brands’ participation, media, communication, and community index. However, compared to 34,363,154 brand big data from last September, the number increased by 62.01 percent.
According to the big data analysis on the boy group brand reputation for October 2024, the Kpop boy groups SEVENTEEN, BTS, TWS, Stray Kids, and BOYNEXTDOOR dominated the top five rankings, respectively.

1. SEVENTEEN
Kpop male group SEVENTEEN, set to embark on their upcoming world tour “Right Here” this October, ranked first for the second consecutive month. The boy band’s brand value increased by 97.13 percent, from 3,330,977 in September to 6,566,205 in October. Based on the analysis, the brand value breakdown is as follows:
- Participation Index: 237,421
- Media Index: 1,429,800
- Communication Index: 1,835,869
- Community Index: 3,063,115
Further, in link analysis, the institute found “reveal,” “comeback,” and “collaborate” to be the group’s highest-ranking related terms. Meanwhile, in keyword analysis, the institute discovered “MINITEEN,” “12th mini album,” and “SEVENTEEN STREET” as the group’s top rankings keywords. Additionally, in positivity-negativity analysis, the group obtained a positive score of 92.84 percent.
2. BTS
Kpop boy group BTS, which continues to make headlines with the group’s latest achievements and updates, rose to the second position in the rankings. The group’s brand value experienced an impressive increase of 305.05 percent, rising from 1,377,380 in September to 5,579,105 in October. The breakdown of their brand value is as follows:

- Media Index: 893,556
- Communication Index: 1,304,144
- Community Index: 3,225,020
3. TWS
Boy group TWS, who will make a highly anticipated comeback in November, climbed to the third position this month. The rookie group’s brand value increased significantly by 140.36 percent. It rose 1,207,938 in September, from 1,207,938 in September to 2,903,449 in October, with the breakdown as follows:

4. Stray Kids
Kpop group Stray Kids, who set the stage ablaze at the AMAs 50th Anniversary Special and earned a nomination for Best Kpop at the 2024 MTV EMA, has dropped to the fourth position. Despite this decrease in ranking, the group’s brand value rose by 30.22 percent, increasing from 1,906,672 in September to 2,482,888 in October. The breakdown of their brand value is as follows:

5. BOYNEXTDOOR
The boy group BOYNEXTDOOR, which will kick off their first-ever tour titled ‘KNOCK ON Vol. 1’ this December, soared to the fifth position this month. The group achieved a brand value of 2,433,671, showing a significant increase of 175.52 percent from their brand value of 883,309 in September. Based on this analysis, the breakdown of their brand value is as follows:
