March 2024 Top Kpop Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korea Business Research Institute analyzed the popularity of Kpop female groups by studying its big data. They examined 41,671,067 data points between February 10 and March 10, 2024. To rate the brand reputation, the Institute used different approaches. The focus was on important factors like how much people engaged with the groups, their media coverage, and how they communicated. Compared to the 49,182,794 data points in February, they observed a significant 15.27% decrease in the current dataset.
As a result of big data analysis, TWICE, (G)I-DLE, LE SSERAFIM, BLACKPINK, and NewJeans secured the top five list. They emerged as the most popular Kpop female groups in March 2024 with the highest brand reputation indices.

TOP 5
1. TWICE
TWICE topped the Kpop female group rankings, a feat solidified by their No.1 position on the Billboard 200 chart. Their remarkable success led to a significant increase in brand value. It rose 3,901,286, marking an 18.62% rise from the prior month’s index of 3,288,945.
Moreover, TWICE’s exceptional performance is evidenced by the following key indices for March:
- Participation Index: 265,880
- Media Index: 796,407
- Communication Index: 858,047
- Community Index: 1,980,952
The group’s influential presence is highlighted by their popular keywords, including “With YOU-th,” “Billboard 200,” and “JYP.” Meanwhile, their most popular related terms include “come true,” “happy,” and “thankful.” Furthermore, TWICE’s sentiment evaluation revealed an impressive positive rate of 96.42%.
2. (G)I-DLE
(G)I-DLE, the Kpop female group under CUBE Entertainment, dropped to second in the rankings. Their brand reputation index saw a significant decrease of 24.23%, falling from 5,108,516 in February to 3,870,855 in March. Detailed analysis reveals the following indices:

- Media Index: 751,200
- Communication Index: 991,367
- Community Index: 1,987,256
3. LE SSERAFIM
This month, LE SSERAFIM, who had the fastest entry into the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 with two albums, climbed to third position in the list. However, despite this rise, the group’s brand value decreased by 0.87%, dropping from 2,989,993 in February to 2,964,119 in March. A detailed analysis of their brand indices reveals the following information:

4. BLACKPINK
In March, the famous Kpop group BLACKPINK rose to fourth place on the list of the most popular female groups. Each member recently announced the establishment of their respective labels for individual project activities. Despite the increase in ranking, the group saw its brand value decline by 8.86%. Their brand value fell from 2,889,685 in February to 2,633,573 in March. The analysis conducted by the Institute presents the following indices:

5. NewJeans
NewJeans rounded out the top five rankings for this month. Recently, they received the Group of the Year award at the Billboard Women in Music 2024 event. Despite this achievement, their ranking dropped to fifth position with a brand value of 2,126,812 this month. It decreased by 9.14% from the February value of 2,340,780.
