TWS, LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, NewJeans, and BABYMONSTER emerged as the top-ranking groups, showcasing their increasing influence and popularity in the industry. April 2024 Top Kpop Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings
From March 2 to April 2, 2024, the institute analyzed the brand reputation of new Kpop idol groups. They gathered 17,599,703 data pieces, which decreased by 11.99% compared to March’s 19,996,511 data pieces.
The institute analyzed the brand reputation of new idol groups by incorporating boy and girl groups into the analysis. This measured various indices related to their brands. Furthermore, the institute focused on Kpop idol groups that debuted after 2022 for the assessment. They utilized extensive data analysis to gain additional insights.

1. TWS
Pledis Entertainment’s new Kpop boy group with six members, who debuted on January 22, 2024, claimed the first place. As a result, the group achieved a brand value of 3,087,252 this month. Compared to the brand value of 3,117,868 last March, it fell 0.98%. Based on the analysis, here’s the group indices:
- Participation Index: 688,548
- Media Index: 842,587
- Communication Index: 1,219,900
- Community Index: 336,217
Furthermore, the institute conducted a comprehensive analysis of the group. Based on the results of the analysis, TWS’s related terms included “release,” “surpass,” and “advertise.” Meanwhile, in the keyword analysis, they found the phrases “plot twist,” “SEVENTEEN,” and “boyhood pop” as their highest-ranking related keywords. In addition, the boy band’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 86.57 percent positive reactions.
2. LE SSERAFIM
Kpop girl group LE SSERAFIM, who recently made a multi-year collaboration with The United States Basketball Association (NBA) for the “Friends of the NBA” entertainment program, rose to the second position this month. The group’s brand value fell 16.56%, from 2,680,460 last March to 2,236,570 in April. According to the analysis, the group obtained the following indices:

3. ILLIT
ILLIT, BELIFT LAB and HYBE LABELS’ rookie Kpop female group, newly entered the list on the fifth place. Debuted on March 25, the girl group achieved a remarkable brand value of 1,509,192, reflecting the following indices:

- Media Index: 351,259
- Communication Index: 594,738
- Community Index: 258,807
4. New Jeans
