TOP 55 Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings in February 2024

The Korean Business Research Institute has unveiled the top Kpop rookie idol group brand reputation rankings for February 2024. RIIZE, LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, TWS, and H1-Key emerged as the frontrunners. Check out the complete list below!

February 2024 Top Kpop Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings

The Korean Business Research Institute gathered a total of 20,621,928 data points on new idol groups between January 1, 2024, and February 1, 2024. This number represents a 17.04% increase compared to the data points collected in January, which amounted to 17,618,834 data points.

The Institute used recent data to analyze the brand reputation of the new K-pop idol groups. They considered factors like consumer participation, media presence, communication, and community engagement. The analysis included male and female groups and aimed to establish a brand reputation index for idol groups that debuted after 2022.

According to the analysis result, RIIZE, LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, TWS, and H1-Key dominated the top 5 rankings for the brand reputation of rookie idol groups in February 2024. Following them, ZEROBASEONE, NMIXX, BABYMONSTER, Kiss of Life, and FIFTY FIFTY also secured positions in the top rankings. Additionally, BOYNEXTDOOR, &TEAM, PLAVE, CLASS:y, tripleS, Kep1er, Geenius, The Wind, 8Eight, EVNNE, FANTASY BOYS, ARTBEAT, NiziU, IRRIS, DXMON, POW, NINE.i, ALL(H)OURS, Tempest, and YOUNITE completed the list of the top 30 rookie idol groups with the highest brand reputation in February 2024.

TOP 5

1. RIIZE

The rookie Kpop boy band RIIZE achieved a brand reputation index of 3,082,011 in February 2024. This marks a 6.69% increase from their January brand reputation index of 2,888,631. The analysis revealed the following results for the group’s performance:

• Participation Index: 998,718
• Media Index: 718,172
• Communication Index: 716,343
• Community Index: 648,778

Furthermore, the RIIZE brand secured the first place in the brand reputation rankings for new idol groups in February 2024. In link analysis, the Institute found “strong, heartwarming, and successful” to be the high-ranking terms related to the group. Meanwhile, the keyword analysis highlighted the popularity of “Love 119, Get Guitar, BRIIZE.” When analyzing positive and negative sentiment, the brand achieved an impressive 83.96% positive sentiment rate. 

2. LE SSERAFIM

In February 2024, the Kpop group LE SSERAFIM secured the second position with a brand reputation index of 2,799,522. This figure reflected a substantial increase of 71.61% compared to their brand reputation index of 1,631,303 in January. As per the analysis results, they achieved the following indices: 

• Participation Index: 293,314
• Media Index: 779,918 
• Communication Index: 919,401
• Community Index: 806,889

3. NewJeans

The girl group NewJeans fell to third place, obtaining a brand reputation index of 2,349,272 in February 2024. This signifies a decline of 31.04% when compared to their January brand reputation index of 3,406,936. The analysis of the group’s performance yielded the following results:

• Participation Index: 494,018 
• Media Index: 533,092 
• Communication Index: 599,587 
• Community Index: 722,575

4. TWS

The newly formed boy band TWS made their debut on this month’s rookie idol group ranking. They secured the fourth position with a brand reputation index of 1,613,800. Based on the analysis, the group achieved the following results:

• Participation Index: 261,856
• Media Index: 331,264
• Communication Index: 479,355
• Community Index: 541,325

5. H1-key

This month, Kpop girl group H1-Key climbed to the fifth position and attained a brand reputation index of 1,198,691. This represents a remarkable increase of 44.30% compared to their brand reputation index of 830,699 in January. The analysis revealed that the girl group achieved the following results:

• Participation Index: 156,791
• Media Index: 278,313
• Communication Index: 309,135 
• Community Index: 454,451
