fromis_9 Gets into Car Accident – Comeback Showcase Canceled!
HYBE’s promising 4th gen girl group, fromis_9 is just gearing up for a summer comeback today. However, the group urgently canceled their showcase after 5 fromis_9 members got injured in a car accident.
On June 26, PLEDIS Entertainment officially announced that fromis_9 comeback showcase canceled due to a car accident. The accident happened the day before, on June 25.
“For the safety of the fromis_9 members, the media showcase and fan showcase, scheduled on June 27 will not proceed.

5 Members of fromis_9 Injured – What REALLY Happened?
Further in the announcement, PLEDIS Entertainment also explained that 5 members of fromis_9, Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Seoyeon, Lee Chaeyoung, and Baek Jiheon had been injured during the car accident.
Immediately after the car accident, the 5 injured members of fromis_9 rushed into the emergency room for examination. Unfortunately, even when no bone fractures happened to these members, they still suffered from bruises and muscle pain. That is why the medical professionals suggested the members refrain from increased activities.
Therefore, the company canceled the fromis_9 comeback showcases and decided to monitor the members condition closely.
Is fromis_9 Comeback Release Canceled Too?
Regarding the fromis_9 comeback release, PLEDIS Entertainment stated that the schedule would remain the same. They will still release fromis_9 5th mini-album, “from our Memento Box” today on June 27.
Still, future schedules and activities for fromis_9 comeback will depend on the recovery of the 5 injured members. That is why PLEDIS Entertainment asked for fans’ understanding.
“Please kindly note that depending on the recovery status of Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Seoyeon, Lee Chaeyoung, and Baek Ji-heon, their future schedule will be arranged with plenty of flexibility and they may not be able to perform choreography on stage.”
