As reported by Collider, BTS will participate in the upcoming sequel of a famous 2016 animated film, “Sing 2” original soundtrack (ost).

“Sing 2” follows an optimistic koala named Buster Moon and his all-cast stars to make a new luxury show at the Crystal Tower Theatre soon. Otherwise, Jimmy Crystal, a wolf tycoon, will kick them out. So, they agree to convince Clay Calloway to join them. He is a legendary rock musician who has long retired and decided to go into seclusion.

The animated film “Sing 2,” was directed by Garth Jennings and featured many famous actors and actresses. Like Matthew McConaughey, Bono of U2, Reese Witherspoon, Halsey, Scarlett Johansson, and more.

“Sing 2” will be released on December 22nd, 2021. Since a BTS song will take part in the film, it could be their hits in English, “Butter,” “Dynamite,” or “Permission to Dance.” However, there is no detail about which song will be featured yet. However, back in 2016, BTS Jin and BTS V sang a song, “It’s Definitely You,” an original soundtrack of Korean Drama “Hwarang,” starring BTS V.

Moreover, BTS released a single titled “Film Out” on April 12th as an original soundtrack of the Japanese movie “Signal.” This single is BTS’s first original soundtrack, a collaboration song between BTS Jungkook and J-pop rock band, back number.

And in addition, the original soundtrack by worldwide handsome Jin entitled “Yours” for tvN “Jirisan” also became the most anticipated song by BTS fans, ARMY. The theme will release on November 6th at 10.30 (KST) after the 6 episode airing.
