ARMY Got Upset After BTS Butter Winning EURO 2020 Vote

On July 2, EUFA EURO 2020 official Twitter announced a vote for which song to be played at Wembley Stadium. The final result showed that BTS got the most vote with Butter. However, ARMY (BTS fans) got upset over the decision of UEFA EURO 2020 and got racism attacks.

The ‘battle’ among the fandom of artists nominated by UEFA EURO 2020 was indeed inevitable. Each fandom supported the artist with all their might to win the vote and hear the song be played at Wembley Stadium.

The vote got over 4million voters choosing their most favorite artist. As a result, BTS Butter won the voting with 46.6%.

UEFA EURO 2020 decided to play all the songs

However, the later UEFA EURO 2020 decision upset ARMY. On July 6, through their official Twitter account, they announced that they would play all four songs at the Wembley Stadium.

For the next time, don't do stupid polls and just say that you will play all the songs.

The issue isn’t that they’re playing other songs. We’re not that stupid. The issue is that they made it sound like a real voting contest which is obviously wasn’t.

The decision led to the racism issue

ARMY stated that it was not the decision to play all four songs that upset them. The EURO 2020 vote and inconsistent decision made ARMY (as well as the artist) receiving many hate and racism speeches.

think for a second, they made the poll, they’re intention was never to play both songs or “use” bts, but after how big it got, how big WE Made it, it was obvious they had to play his song too

Yes true..also in malaysia..its viral..many football fans threw hate comment towards bts even some army also comment that butter not suitable song to play for euro and lots of racist comment. .its really disgusting to see the comment..all because of that damn poll..
