Kpop girl group BLACKPINK is finally making a comeback this year by first dropping a new pre-released song, “Pink Venom,” ahead of their 2nd full album, “Born Pink.” The appearance of BLACKPINK members Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé in the newly released concept teaser photos and videos for their upcoming new song “Pink Venom” have stimulated global fans’ anticipation for the group’s comeback in 2022.

YG Entertainment had gradually shared the concept teaser for BLACKPINK’s upcoming comeback song “Pink Venom.” In the teasers released, Blackpink members show off their stunning duality. 

For the first teaser, the girls are wearing custom pink Mugler bodysuits inside a shattered glass box. They look elegant and dazzling with sleek hairstyles and dewy makeup. The pink theme really represents Blackpink’s identity and the concept of the upcoming song “Pink Venom.”

Meanwhile, for the second teaser, we get a rough concept of Blackpink’s dark costumes and sultry makeup. First, Jisoo shows her new side with Cleopatra’s looks with bangs and lip piercing. Then with a denim-style hoodie, minimal makeup, and gold-face jewelry, Jennie gives a mysterious look.

Further, Rosé, with light blonde-dark hair and rhinestones adorning her lips, has captivated our eyes. Finally, Lisa showed her inner rebel with her stunning red hair, turtle neck, and wet hair.

Save the date! Blackpink’s pre-release single “Pink Venom” will be released on August 19 at 1 pm KST (12 am EST). You can stream Blackpink’s upcoming single “Pink Venom” on all major music streaming platforms such as Spotify, MelOn, Apple Music, and more.

BLACKPINK “Born Pink” Release date

The Kpop quartet will release their 2nd full album, “Born Pink,” on September 16, 2022. The pre-order links are already available.

According to the Korean media report, the upcoming BLACKPINK’s second full album will be made with eco-friendly substances such as low-carbon paper and ink made from soybean oil. In addition, one of the versions of the “Born Pink” album package, the kit version, does not come with a CD. And the wrapping paper or plastic wrap is made of biodegradable plastic made from a material extracted from cornstarch.

Using environmentally friendly substances is in line with BLACKPINK’s mission as a Sustainable Development Goals Advocate for the United Nations to raise global awareness to take climate action to protect the planet.
