When BTS Jimin was talking on a VLIVE stream on March 26, 2020, he explained about the birth of his masterpiece, “Friends”. He said that he was making several songs and took three of them to Bang Shin Hyuk PD for advice.

Surprisingly, Bang PD chose the third song, which was the most incomplete back then. After that, Bang Shin Hyuk PD worked together on the song with Jimin, turning something that was “incomplete” into an artwork.

4. Park Jimin Initially NOT Sure about Adding “Friends” into BTS Album

After they finished developing the song, Bang Shin Hyuk PD then asked Jimin about adding the piece to BTS new album. However, BTS Jimin hesitated. He didn’t think that his song would be worthy enough to be included in their album at the time.

However, today the song has surpassed over 125 million streams on Spotify.
