BTS Wins Big With Most Awards of Any Artist at 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards

The global star BTS won four awards from the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards and became the biggest winner in MTV EMA this year.

On November 14, 2021, the award ceremony of MTV Europe Music Awards was held offline in Budapest, Hungary. The septet group was nominated into four categories and successfully took home all the awards.

This year, BTS won Best K-Pop, Best Pop, Best Group, and Biggest Fans. While in 2020 MTV EMA, BTS took home four awards – Best Group, Best Song, Best Virtual Live, and Biggest Fans.

BTS won the “Best Pop” award for the first time this year, while they have won the “Biggest Fans” award since 2018. Thus, the winning marked them as the group that won the most awards at the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards.

2022 Grammy Awards

BTS “Butter” has officially entered the 2022 Grammy Awards nomination under “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.” In this category, BTS will compete with Lizzo ft. Cardi B with “Rumors,” Doja Cat ft. SZA with “Kiss Me More,” and The Kid LAROI & Miley Cyrus with “Without You.”

Its nominations will be announced on November 23, 2021. In addition, the final round voting is open from December 6, 2021, until January 5, 2022.
