On August 19, the Korea Consumer Forum (KCF) published the complete list of the 2021 Brand of the Year Awards winners. The annual award event honors brands that have impressed consumers in the previous year. The winners were determined by an online poll of consumer preferences in various commercial brand categories.
IU, Lim Young Woong, and Brave Girls received more than one award at the 2021 Brand of the Year 2021 Awards. Solo singer IU won two awards for Best Female Solo Artist and Female Ad Model.
Moreover, trot singer Lim Young Woong won for the Best Trot Singer and Male Ad Model. Meanwhile, the Kpop girl group Brave Girls won Best Female KPop Female Group Idol and Hot Icon.
