BTS RM and Jin Tested Positive for COVID-19 One Day After Suga
RM tested positive when preparing to leave quarantine
RM returned from his extended vacation in the United States on December 17. He immediately underwent a PCR test and got a negative result. Nevertheless, he went into self-quarantine as mandated by the South Korea government.
However, when preparing to leave the quarantine, the test showed BTS RM was positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, RM doesn’t suffer from any symptoms.
“After returning on Friday the 17th from the United States following his personal schedule as part of his official vacation period, RM immediately underwent PCR testing, was found negative and entered into self-quarantine in his home as mandated by COVID-19 control procedures. However, he underwent PCR testing today before his scheduled release from quarantine and was found to be positive for COVID-19; he is currently exhibiting no particular symptoms.”BIGHIT MUSIC
Jin tested negative twice but then experienced mild symptoms
Meanwhile, Jin was one of the first BTS members returning from the United States. Jin actually returned to South Korea on December 6 and tested for COVID-19. Moreover, he underwent the PCR testing not only once but twice: after his return and before his release from self-quarantine. Both showed Jin was negative for COVID-19.
Unfortunately, on December 25, Jin was diagnosed positive for COVID-19 after having flu-like symptoms. However, unlike RM, Jin is exhibiting mild symptoms.
“Jin returned to Korea on Monday, December 6 and underwent PCR testing immediately after his return and again before his release from self-quarantine, and was found negative on both occasions. However, feeling flu-like symptoms this afternoon, he underwent PCR testing and was found positive for COVID-19 late this evening. He is exhibiting mild symptoms including light fever, and is undergoing self-treatment at home.”BIGHIT MUSIC
RM and Jin are fully vaccinated
As the agency said, RM and Jin have received their second jabs of the COVID-19 vaccine in August 2021, so has Suga. Therefore, although BTS RM and Jin are tested positive for COVID-19, ARMY hope they won’t suffer from heavy symptoms and will be fine.
“RM and Jin both completed their second round of COVID-19 vaccinations in late August, and are currently undergoing self-treatment at home as per health authority guidelines. Neither member had any contact with other members after their return to Korea.”BIGHIT MUSIC
Let’s hope everything goes well with BTS three hyungs –RM, Jin, and Suga, and they’ll recover soon. And for other BTS members, please be safe and healthy!
Meanwhile, let the life goes on…
