On August 11, Korean entertainment media reported that the former lead vocalist of GFRIEND, Yuju was apparently in talks to join the KONNECT Entertainment agency. This company belongs to the singer-songwriter and CEO Kang Daniel.

According to the report, Yuju and KONNECT Entertainment had conducted several meetings. Furthermore, they held these meetings to discuss the possibility of an exclusive contract between Yuju and the KONNECT Entertainment agency.

At the same time, KONNECT Entertainment responded to the report by stating that they had yet confirmed anything about an exclusive contract with the former GFRIEND’s lead vocalist. i know konnect is newly established company. its too early to judge but they seems to have good domestic n intl promo, artistic freedom, many partnerships. if its true, yuju in a good hand then.
