The Korean Business Research Institute has published the Top 50 Most Popular KPop Idols Brand Reputation Rankings for January 2021.
As cited from Rekorea, “The Brand Reputation Index is an index that extracts big data of a brand and analyzes it by consumer behavior. Then, it classifies and weights into participation value, communication value, media value, and social value. Brand reputation analysis can help you to find out who, where, how, and why talking about your brand”.
The Most Popular KPop Idols Brand Reputation Rankings in January 2021
For the analysis, the institute has collected big data of 139,838,413 brand reputation of 1.453 K-pop idols from December 30, 2020, to January 20, 2021. Moreover, compared to the 165,977,509 brand big data of kpop idols brand reputation in November 2020, it decreased by 15.75%.
As a result, the most popular KPop idols’ brand reputation rankings in January 2021 BTS Jimin still at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 8,016,940. The high-ranking phrases in keyword analysis associated with BTS Jimin are “ARMY,” “Sarang,” and “birthday.” In addition to this, the words “celebrate,” “chosen,” and “surpass” are the highest-ranking related terms. The idol’s positivity-negativity analysis has positive reactions with a score of 81.06%.
BLACKPINK Jennie, with a brand reputation index of 7,782,727, has an impressive 224.09% rise on the second spot. Previously in November 2020, she was on the 30 ranks. BTS’s V took third place for January with a brand reputation index of 7,055,289, with a 10.24% rise from his score in November 2020.
