Kim Seonho is set to grace the theater stage once more. He’s preparing for a role in the upcoming play “Realise Happiness” (previously known as “Pursuit of Happiness”). Audiences can look forward to an enchanting performance as he shares the stage with Lee Dongha and An Wooyeon.
Actor Kim Seonho to Lead in “Realise Happiness”
Kim Seonho has dazzled us with standout roles in series like “Start-Up” and “Hometown Cha Cha Cha.” Whether he’s the enchanting second lead or the irresistible main character, he never fails to capture our attention.
After being offered to star in some exciting projects, including “Hash’s Shinru,” Hong Sisters’ “Can This Love Be Translated?,” Kim Seonho is expanding his portfolio this year with the film “The Childe.”
Plot and Role Details
The ensemble for “Realise Happiness” (previously known as “Pursuit of Happiness”), penned and directed by Oh Inha, was unveiled on October 20, with Kim Seonho being a key figure among the ten actors.
“Realise Happiness” resonates with those who reflect on past regrets and the cycle of repeating mistakes. It underscores the value of cherishing our loved ones.
The play is a reimagining of the 2019 piece “Memory in Dream.” Kim Seonho, who initially portrayed Eden, now assumes the role of Kim Woojin, set against a Korean backdrop. Woojin is an aspiring photographer who approaches life with sincerity. Both Lee Dongha and An Wooyeon will be reprising their original roles.
Kim Seulgi returns to the theater after half a decade, her last appearance being in “Grandpa and I.” She plays the role of Lee Eunsoo, an art gallery docent and curator. Her character serendipitously encounters Woojin in the vast city of Seoul. The cast is further enriched by including Gugudan’s Kim Nayoung.
“Realise Happiness” will open its curtains on December 5.
