Just like singer Lim Young Woo who, instead of making a huge comeback on stage, gave an exemplary action by saving a traffic accident victim this time.

On January 23, Korean media reported a traffic accident occurring on the Olympic highway towards Yeouido around the Banpo Bridge on January 21. According to the reports, talented trot singer Lim Young Woong was the first to arrive on the scene, saving the traffic accident victim who was unconscious at the time.

In the news reports, the traffic accident happened at around 4 to 5 PM KST. At the time, there was a van colliding with multiple vehicles, which then crashed into the guardrail.

Then, this accident caused a traffic jam behind the scene, and that’s when witnesses saw a person approaching the crashed vehicle. The person had seen the woman in the passenger seat panicking and trying to wake up the male driver. Therefore, this person then reclined the seat flat and performed an emergency PCR.

Furthermore, after completing the emergency PCR, singer Lim Young Woong had several other helpers who had approached the scene and brought the unconscious male driver out of the car. Then, after covering the driver with a blanket, Lim Young Woong continued to perform PCR.

And not only that, but singer Lim Young Woong was also the one reporting and getting the 119 rescue team responded. So by the time the rescue team arrived on the scene, the male driver had already become conscious.

Along with the witnesses’ statement, a representative source from the Korean Seocho fire department also confirmed that singer Lim Young Woong was indeed the first person who arrived, reported, and gave the first emergency assistance on the scene.

“Lim Young Woong was the first person to report the accident and assisted on the scene.

When the rescue team arrived, witnesses said that a person had assisted with the emergency treatment on the scene. Then, after we checked the person’s personal and contact details that he had filled out at the time, it was indeed Lim Young Woong.”

Finally, on the same day after Korean media reports about Lim Young Woong saving the unconscious driver of the traffic accident, his Mulgogi Music agency released an official statement.

The agency stated that Lim Young Woong was on his way home when the traffic accident happened. After noticing the urgent situation, he parked his car and gave his best assistance although he was shocked himself. After all, it was the first time for Lim Young Woong to have encountered such a situation.

“On January 21, Lim Young Woong had finished his work schedule for the day and was on his way when he witnessed the traffic accident.

There was a huge traffic jam, and the situation in the car in front of him was urgent. Since he happened to be the closest to the site of the accident, he parked his car and checked on the situation. Although he was taken aback since it was his first time in this type of situation, he was able to quickly aid the injured person.

It was a kind of situation where anyone would have helped if they had been on the scene.”
