The Reasons Jinjin is the Best Leader of ASTRO and What AROHA Say About Him

Park Jinwoo (박진우) or better known by his stage name Jinjin (진진), was chosen as ASTRO leader not because he’s the oldest member. His leadership quality is one of the reasons why AROHAs keep rooting for the group from their debut until now. Here are some reasons Jinjin is the perfect leader for ASTRO and what AROHA said about him.

A Long Journey of ASTRO Jinjin

During his school days, Jinjin loved to participate in various dance battles. He improved his natural dancing skill in NY Dance Academy in Ilsan.

In late 2014, Jinjin joined the ‘Rising Star Project’ along with iTEEN trainees. They had to prepare performances for the Lotte World stage, so the company could decide who’d join the company’s new boy group. This was when Jinjin showcased his rapping and dancing impressive skills.

Jinjin was a trainee in Fantagio for three years.

Reasons Jinjin is a great leader for ASTRO

1. Jinjin is an understanding leader

Although they live as a group, Jinjin also understands the members individually. Therefore, he respects each member as an individual and a group.

2. Let ASTRO grow together

Jinjin is a person who won’t handle and solve all problems by himself. If it’s a problem with the group, they have to fix it together. By doing so, Jinjin believes that all ASTRO members will grow in their own way.

“A leader is someone who’s ready to listen closely to other members and empathize with them accordingly.”

3. A natural leader

Growing up with a protective and charismatic aura, Jinjin was born a leader. Moreover, a good leader is doesn’t know that he is a good leader, so he’ll keep improving himself.

“We’re the type of group that tries to leave no man behind.”

5. He’s not ashamed of receiving help from other members

Sometimes, as a leader, you might have the pride to seek help when you need it. It’s not the case with Jinjin. He is not ashamed to accept that he is tired or stressed out and will openly receive any help from his teammates.

“As the leader, I’m most proud of the fact that we all really take care of each other. When I’m stressed out, my teammates brought me up.”

6. A triple threat

Jinjin is not only a great leader of ASTRO, but he is also the main rapper and lead dancer of the group. Besides, he has proven that he has a lovely voice when he sings.

7. Organized when speaking

As a rapper, Jinjin tends to speak slowly, which makes him nicknamed the ‘slow rapper.’ However, how Jinjin speaks shows that he is very organized in delivering what’s in his mind. He won’t hastily say something unnecessary.

8. He likes to show his love to AROHA
