October 2024 Top Individual Kpop Idol Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute extracted 167,590,809 pieces of big data on 1,730 individual idol brands from September 24, 2024, to October 24, 2024. Compared to the 119,640,245 pieces of big data on individual Kpop idol brands in September, this represents an increase of 40.08 percent.
Furthermore, they performed consumer behavior analysis on the latest big data to obtain the brand reputation index for each idol. The study measured individual Kpop idol brands’ participation, media, communication, and community indexes.
Based on the results, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, aespa’s Karina, BTS’s J-Hope, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, and BLACKPINK’s Rosé secured their places in the top five individual Kpop idol brand reputation rankings this month. Here are the 30 popular male and female Kpop idols from August, September, and October:

1. BLACKPINK Jennie
Jennie from BLACKPINK, who recently made waves with her new single “Mantra,” topped the brand reputation rankings for individual Kpop idols this month. The singer’s brand reputation index skyrocketed by 351.78 percent, rising from 1,968,631 in September to 8,893,903 in October, with the following breakdown:
- Participation Index: 707,410
- Media Index: 1,826,733
- Communication Index: 3,189,636
- Community Index: 3,170,125
Besides leading the individual Kpop idol brand reputation rankings, the singer also secured the number one spot in Kpop girl group member brand reputation rankings for October 2024. Furthermore, according to the Institute’s comprehensive analysis, the link analysis identified “sexy,” “confident,” and “mesmerize” as the most popular terms related to the female idol. Moreover, in keyword analysis, “Mantra,” “talk show,” and “pretty girl” were found to be the idol’s most popular phrases. Additionally, the female idol gained a positive score of 94.80 percent in the positivity-negativity analysis.
2. aespa Karina
Karina from aespa, who recently shocked her fans with her performance in Lee Mujin Service, secured the second position among popular Kpop idols. Karina’s brand reputation index impressively rose by 87.59 percent, increasing from 3,745,252 in September to 7,025,559 in October, with the following breakdown:

- Media Index: 1,245,638
- Communication Index: 2,566,886
- Community Index: 2,794,910
3. BTS J-Hope
J-Hope from BTS, who recently completed his military service, soared to the third position on the list of popular Kpop idols this month. The male Kpop idol achieved a staggering brand reputation index of 470.58 percent. His brand reputation index rose from 981,542 in September to 5,600,506 in October, with the following breakdown:
- Participation Index: 229,234
- Media Index: 915,134
- Communication Index: 2,165,354
- Community Index: 2,290,784
4 ASTRO Cha Eun Woo
Cha Eun Woo from ASTRO, who successfully made fans swoon over his visuals in the latest Calvin Klein campaign, claimed the fourth position in the most popular Kpop idol rankings this month. His brand reputation index increased by 149.90 percent, rising from 2,050,506 in September to 5,124,233 in October, with the following indices:

- Media index 689,169
- Communication index 1,943,474
- Community index 2,077,608
5. BLACKPINK Rosé
Rosé from BLACKPINK, who recently released a hit single, “APT.” featuring Bruno Mars, concluded this month’s top five Kpop idol rankings. The female Kpop idol entered the list again this month, landing in the fifth position with an impressive brand reputation index of 4,923,535, with the following breakdown:
